First Sunday of Advent

Some people who are doing those ordinary daily tasks will go with Him to His Kingdom, and some will not. What's the difference? How do we make sure that we're the ones who are ready and waiting for Him when He comes? How do we keep ourselves awake in the midst of our daily tasks?
Each day, we must turn toward Christ. Each day throughout the week, if we're not daily turning towards the Lord, then we are walking in darkness. And what do you do in the dark? You sleep.
And if you're asleep when Christ comes, you will not be taken with him.
What good habits can we do to make sure that each day we are turning towards the Lord?
